Yes. DPC is not a substitute for health insurance. We strongly recommend that all our patients maintain a health insurance plan, such as a high-deductible plan or a catastrophic plan. Your DPC membership covers routine primary care, while your insurance is essential for emergencies, hospitalizations, surgeries, and specialist care. Many of our patients find they can save money by pairing a DPC membership with a high-deductible health plan, as the lower monthly premium often outweighs the cost of the DPC membership.

No. By not accepting insurance, we can practice medicine the way it was meant to be—with you, the patient, at the center. We will provide you with a detailed invoice that you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement, depending on your plan. However, we cannot guarantee reimbursement, and the responsibility for payment remains with you.
